Research and Development Organisations
Known as the ICC, this agency is the one involved in transferring technology from the university to relevant bodies through research and other efforts. This includes commercializing intellectual property via the likes of patents, copyrights, licensing and other related areas.
The FRI plays a vital role in providing facilities and programmes to better improve the fisheries industry of Malaysia. This is done through incubation of research programmes, preservation and conservation efforts and other initiatives for researchers to better carry out their studies.

This agency is the Malaysian avenue to enhance the quality of products and services of Malaysia. This is done through putting in place initiatives and standards for the production and delivery of Malaysian products and services that are competitive and of international standard.
UKM Pakarunding is the consulting arm for UKM. Its role is to market subject experts from the academics of the university through consultancy and other services through a corporate and professional platform to link academia with the best in the industry.
